Turmi Lodge is located at Turmi, a spectacular small market area in southern Ethiopia, where the Hammar people gather every Monday, market day of the week.

The People

The people of the Lower Omo Valley are pastoralists earning their living primarily on the wealth of livestock. Their livestock consists of Zebu Cattle, Goats and Sheep. Farming is considered a subsidiary and sorghum is seldom cultivated to Support their livelihood.

The Rooms

Each room is furnished in cultural materials with Twin bed, one cozy shower and a rest room. The lodge is equipped with one electric generator serving an interrupted light and power service.

The Restaurant

The restaurant decorated in traditional crafts is situated at a corner where visitors will have the stunning view of the area.
